The OFFICIAL theme of Southern Decadence XXII is ‘Psycho Cinema Diabolique’ and HEAVEN TO HELL, Chi Chi La Rue’s last project for Falcon Studios before going on her merry way to judge the Thursday night’s Big Dick Contest at the Bourbon Pub at the beginning of Southern Decadence weekend in New Orleans embodies the essence of the weekend’s celebration.

Heaven to Hell (H2H) writhes with the sensuality of lapsed innocence and the celebration of the first of the Seven Deadly Sins: Lust. It’s a perfect example of ‘Psycho Cinema Diabolique’ repleat with elaborate make-up, minimal costume and evocative sets.

H2H has got to make a person wonder what Ms. LaRue’s visualization of heaven would be like given the red tapestries and red French brocade couch of seduction used on the fallen angel Brad Patton in her version of hell.

Patton’s fall from innocence is the genesis of H2H and symbolically and thematically that opening is brought to climax in the final orgy scene where Patton, now wearing black wings where the white ones used to be, gives Josh Weston one of the boy’s most thorough fuckings to date, burying his 10 inches so deeply in Weston’s hole that Patton’s balls seem to disappear also.

Throughout H2H consistently focuses on sex and sensuality. Amidst an almost total lack of dialogue … though there are plenty of whimpers and groans … not only does the Fallen Angel Brad Patton get fucked (his first on screen screw), but Matthew Rush, Josh Weston, Dean Monroe (who is superb as the Devil) and many many others give it up in the spirit of the film’s debauchery.

H2H uses every one of Falcon’s EXCLUSIVES: Brad Patton, Dean Monroe, Erik Rhodes, Roman Hart, Tristan Adonis, Kane O'Farrell, Joe Sport, Josh Weston, and Colby Taylor, as well as Falcon Lifetime Exclusive Matthew Rush. And they all give this film outstanding performances. For the serious porn collector, H2H is a MUST HAVE. Not only is it Ms LaRue’s swan song for Falcon, but it is simply inspired cinema, though certainly of the psycho cinema variety. The film look is designed by Bradley Pickleseimer who serves up an expressionistic HELL conjured out of the recesses of an east L.A. bondage nightclub. Mr. Picleseimer's Hell appears in shades of red blue and black and each set amplifies the warm flesh tones of the men in this devils den.



To complete this Art pice, award winning E.M. Diaz, porn music's king, writes a subtle and evocative score that not only moves in sync with the action but also consistantly supports the film's sensuality and sexuality, delivering pulsating rythms and delving occasionally nto classiclly inspired segments that point up the other worldiness of the storyline, which story, as with the works of Wagner and other classicists, is constructed in the mind of the viewer.

The eye of the camera under the direction of Ms LaRue gives us gorgeous tableaus and beautiful close-ups of butt holes being devoured, dicks being buried and swallowed, and everywhere hot hot men, and she gives all of this to us with a painter’s eye to composition and lighting. But even in the midst of this artistic triumph, Ms LaRue doesn’t forget why we are watching, and, consequently, the sex is some of the most visually stimulating and explosively erotic I’ve seen.

Thank goodness we don’t have to choose but can enjoy this allegorical tale of sex and symbolism on its merits as ONE VERY HOT GAY PORN FLICK.
